How can I add a reservation?

A reservation can be added either as a Single reservation by clicking on the Single Booking tab or as Multi reservations by clicking on the Multi Booking tab.

How to add a reservation to Bookteq

On the main menu on the left-hand side, you will find a red button saying New Booking. By clicking on this, you will be able to start inputting the details of the reservation. At the very top of this section, you can decide whether you want to add a Single or Multi reservation. Once selected, click Reservation. After this, you select the space & facility, booking date, start time, duration and expiry date for the reservation. 

What does the expiry date mean?

- If the customer pays for this reservation, it will convert to a booking

- If the customer doesn't pay before the expiry date, the reservation will be removed and become available to other bookers

 

 

Once all the fields are completed, proceed to add the reservation to the basket. The reservation will appear in the basket where you can confirm the reservation. Once confirmed, add the customer details. You can either allocate the reservation to a new customer or to a customer that has already been saved in the system previously.

After the reservation is confirmed, a window will pop up where you have the option to send a payment link to the customer. You can do so by clicking on Create Payment Request.

When the customer pays, the reservation will automatically convert to a booking. If you send an invoice to the customer, and the customer pays via other payments methods which are not via the payment link, such as bank transfer or cash, please make sure that you log in the payment.
