Learn how to generate a one-time smart access code for your customers
Step-by-step guide
Watch our video tutorial on how to use generate a new one-time code:
1. Navigate to the Lockteq section on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. Select 'Create new code' in the top right-hand side of the screen.
3. When the pop-up appears, enter the new code name and select the device you'd like to create the code for.
4. Enter your 4 digit-code. Be aware that you'll need to create a unique combination of 4 digits that aren't currently being used for an existing active code.
5. Select 'Create' to confirm the code.
6. You can then choose either email or SMS to then send this code to your users.
7. You can search for an existing user, or add a new customer.
8. Select 'close and send' to complete the action. Your customer should now have received a new code and be able to access your facility.
