This new feature brings a more streamlined and efficient booking experience. Below, we’ll walk through everything you need to know about the changes. Your customers will also have access to a support article in the Customer Support Hub!
We are rolling this out gradually to our clients so if you haven't received the new widget yet, don't worry! We will be in touch to discuss introducing it to you in due course.
You will not need to change any settings for the new widget, this process is controlled by the team here at Bookteq. 😊
Some of the benefits we expect these change to bring are:
- View availability across a longer time period (weekly view)
- Cancel weeks they don't require in a multi-booking request
- Choose from a variety of booking durations
- Clearer discounted prices at checkout
Step-by-step when making a single booking
Step 1 - Selecting the activity
- You will notice that in place of the blue tiles (where applicable), these are now replaced by your venue logo.
Step 2 - Selecting your slot
Changes to be made aware of
- Vertical calendar that your customers can click into a slot making it easier to see upcoming availability
- Select either the 'Daily' or 'Weekly' view to look for slots
- Choose whether you want to look for the 'Space', 'Facility' or 'Activity' to narrow down your search
- 'Make a repeat booking' option on this page
Step 3 - Choose Preferred Facility
- If there are other facilities also available close to the time slot the customer have chosen, they will appear here and they can choose their preferred one.

- If the customer is eligible for a discount (customer type) this will appear at the top of the page
Repeat Booking Changes
- If your venue has the VAT exemption feature enabled in your workspace, the following message will be displayed to the customer.
- When creating a repeat booking, the customer can easily cancel all unavailable requests at once instead of canceling them individually
