How can I change the time or day of my booking?

This article will have a step–by–step guide on how to change the time or date of your booking in our newly revamped feature "amendments".

 

Please note that any amendment options available are in accordance with the cancellation and amendment policy set by the venue managers of your chosen venue. If there is no option to amend, please contact the venue directly.

Overview

We understand that plans can change, and you may need to modify the time or day of your booking. Now there is a way you can do it yourself!

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to your Bookteq customer portal account.
  2. Click the "Amend" button on the right hand side of the booking you'd like to change.

3. Select the new day, time and/or duration you'd like to modify the booking to. If this is available it will let you click the "Amend Booking" button, if it is unavailable an error will pop up saying that you need to make a different selection.

4. You will get either a confirmation that your amendment has been made or you will get a confirmation that it has been requested if it requires approval by the venue. Please note that if the amendment requires approval you will be notified via email once it is either rejected or accepted.

Troubleshooting

Q - Will amendments to booking require approval or are the changes instant? 

A - Amendments may require approval if the venue has its approval settings on for the facility you have a booking at. Otherwise, your change will be made instantly. 

 

Q - What happens with regards to cost of the booking (s) and payments?

A - If your booking is unpaid, you will be prompted to make payment when making your booking change.

If your bookings are on a payment plan, the upcoming payment will be adjusted to the new amount. 



Q - What about if I have a discount?

A - Your discount will be accounted for at the time of amending the booking as it is in your customer profile attached to the venue.
