Find out what happens if your booking gets cancelled on the Bookteq Customer Portal.
Overview
If a venue cancels your booking for sports facilities through Bookteq you will be refunded by the venue. This will be issued by the venue managers.
If the cancellation is due to weather conditions please contact the venue managers directly by using the "Reveal Phone Number" button on our venue Playfinder website page.
However, if you are the one to cancel your booking, you may be eligible for a refund if within the cancellation policy window. This window differs per facility and per venue. The refund–if successful– will be processed automatically as quickly as possible. It should only take a few days to reach your account, but please allow 7-10 working days for the refund to be credited back to the payment method used.
If your booking request was rejected before the payment was captured, the refund is processed as a reversal. You will not see a refund credit on your statement, but the original authorisation will drop off your statement after a few days. It will appear as if the transaction never occurred. Your bank can provide confirmation regarding this process. The original charge will disappear from your pending charges within a week, depending on your card issuer.
