What happens if one of my bookings gets cancelled?

Find out what happens if your booking gets cancelled on the Bookteq Customer Portal.

Overview

If a venue cancels your booking for sports facilities through Bookteq, we may offer you alternative availability at another venue. If this option is not suitable for you, you will receive a refund or credit.

If you are eligible for a refund (either due to venue cancellation or cancellation with sufficient notice), the refund will be processed automatically as quickly as possible. Please allow 7-10 working days for the refund to be credited back to the payment method used. If you have any future unpaid bookings, the system will apply the refund as credit instead.

If your booking request was rejected before the payment was captured, the refund is processed as a reversal. You will not see a refund credit on your statement, but the original authorisation will drop off your statement after a few days. It will appear as if the transaction never occurred. Your bank can provide confirmation regarding this process. The original charge will disappear from your pending charges within a week, depending on your card issuer.
