At Bookteq, we understand that it's important for you to know when the payments for your booking will be deducted from your account. Our payment schedule is designed to ensure that payments are collected in a timely manner, allowing you to enjoy your sports facility booking without any hassle. Here's an overview of when the payments are scheduled to leave your account based on the frequency of your payment plan.
Overview
When you set up a payment plan for your booking, the first instalment will be taken immediately to cover the first period (week, month, or quarter) of your booking. This initial payment helps secure your booking and sets up your payment schedule. If for any reason the initial payment fails, we will make two further attempts to collect the payments.

Weekly
- First instalment: The first payment is taken immediately or once approved to cover the first week of bookings from Monday to Sunday, including any completed bookings made through the customer portal.
- Future instalments: Subsequent payments are taken 5 days before each booking. You will receive an upcoming payment reminder 3 days prior to the payment date.
- Payment retries: If a payment fails, it will be retried two days later to ensure a successful transaction.
- Notification and updates: If the second payment also fails, both you and the Bookteq team will be notified. You will receive a notification to update your account/payment details to avoid any further issues.
Monthly
- First instalment: The first payment is taken immediately or once approved to cover the first month of bookings from Monday to Sunday, including any completed bookings made through the customer portal.
- Future instalments: Subsequent payments are taken 7 days before each booking. You will receive an upcoming payment reminder 5 days prior to the payment date.
- Payment retries: If a payment fails, it will be retried two days later for a successful transaction.
- Notification and updates: If the second payment also fails, both you and Bookteq will be notified. You will receive a notification to update your account/payment details to ensure seamless payments.
Quarterly
- First instalment: The first payment is taken immediately or once approved to cover the first quarter of bookings, including any completed bookings made through the customer portal.
- Future instalments: Subsequent payments are taken 7 days before each booking. You will receive an upcoming payment reminder 5 days prior to the payment date.
- Payment retries: If a payment fails, it will be retried two days later to complete the transaction.
- Notification and updates: If the second payment also fails, both you and Bookteq will be notified. You will receive a notification to update your account/payment details to avoid any further complications.

Q: What happens if my payment fails?
A: If a payment fails, we will retry the payment two days later. However, if the second payment attempt also fails, both you and Bookteq will be notified. If your payment is unsuccessful, you might not be able to access your booking at the venue.
Q: Can I change the payment schedule or due dates?
A: Unfortunately, the payment schedule and due dates cannot be changed. They are automatically set based on the chosen frequency (weekly, monthly, or quarterly).
