Recent Releases

Direct Debit

Owing to popular demand, we have introduced Direct Debit (BACS DD) as an online payment option for your customers when creating a payment plan for their bookings on either our booking widget or from within our customer portal. This release has a big impact on customers that do not have access to a credit or debit card or wish to pay via bank transfer. It also reduces the manual reconciliation admin that you might do between your accounting software and Bookteq for bank transfer payments!

Self-Service Customer Amendments 

Our new Amendments feature brings us another step towards removing the manual tasks that come with bookings and lettings. Everyday, our clients receive requests from their hirers wishing to move a booking’s date and time or perhaps extend their upcoming booking for another hour. Our improved customer journey allows this to be done by the customer themselves (with your approval of course) in their customer portal rather than burdening the venue’s staff with this simple request. Upcoming Releases

Payment Plan Improvements

Payment plans will undergo a small revamp over the coming weeks! Our Customer Portal will have a new Dashboard section which will allow customers to manage all of their bookings into one payment rather than having multiple payment plans if they have several repeat bookings. This work will also provide greater flexibility to the amount of each payment, accounting for changes made to bookings ahead of their scheduled payment.

New Releases

Help Centre

Our Knowledge Base is getting a major upgrade! Soon there will be a brand new Help Centre, accompanied by an AI tool to help you receive a quick answer to your query. It will also have a news tab for important product updates and releases (such as this one!) as well as a place to give feedback.
